In the matter of the Canada Labour Code (Part I – Industrial Relations) and a dispute affecting The Toronto Terminals Railway, Toronto, Ontario and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), System Council No. 11(Collective agreements #7.08 & 11.6)


The Minister, having received a notice of dispute pursuant to Section 71 of the Canada Labour
Code, has today appointed Ms. Kim Beemer, Conciliation Officer/Mediator, Federal Mediation and

Conciliation Service – Ontario Region, 110 Yonge Street, 91

M5C 1T4, Tel.: 416•973-8023 or 647-330-7462, as Conciliation Officer, to deal with the above-cited dispute.


Pursuant to Section 73(2) (b) of the Code, the olllccr’s mandate is subject to extension by the Minister up to 60 days fi•om the date of the appointment. Any extension beyond 60 days (May 5, 2012) can be made only by mutual consent of the parties.
